But before we can start anything, we need to get the temperature and oxygen levels up to standard. **Terraforming Mars** There are similarities and differences between Ares Expedition and its big board game brother. It plays faster than the board game because actions are resolved simultaneously. The game also clearly indicates how a beginner player can best build up the game. The building of resources and earning money have many similarities with the big brother. It is mainly a new way of playing and more compact on the table. Very fun with 2 people but also with 4. There is even a solo variant. **Better to Turn Back Halfway...** What's nice is that FryxGames has learned from Terraforming Mars. The player boards are beautifully double-layered, so the cubes stay in place well and no extra overlays are needed.
